Meeting point: In front of the statue on the main square of Bruges (Grote Markt), or behind it in case of an event. You'll recognize us by our red vest and red umbrella. Please be there 10 min before starting time to secure your spot on the tour. Remember, if it's not red, it's not legendary!

Places we visit: Market square, cloth halls, palace of Gruuthuse, old St John’s hospital, beguinage, Lake of Love, Half Moon brewery, Stove street, Church of Our Lady, Bonifacius bridge, Groeninge museum, Dijver, Rozenhoedkaai, Fish market and Burg square.

Price: Whatever you feel it's worth to you (donations accepted)

The Bruges by Night Free Walking Tour

 

Get off the beaten track with a local, find out the ancient stories hidden behind the walls and discover a side of Bruges most tourists never get to see. The tour ends with a free beer at the Bauhaus, where you'll have the option to join our fabulous beer tasting.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Meeting point: In front of the statue on the main square of Bruges (Grote Markt), or behind it in case of an event. Look out for the guide with the red vest. Please be there 10 min before starting time to secure your spot on the tour!

 

Places we visit: Market square, Bourse square, Pottery Maker street, Augustine bridge, Ghost house, Jan van Eyck square, House of Purgatory, Golden Hand canal, Long Canal, Vlissinghe bar, St-Anna quarter, Jerusalem church, St-Janshuis mill, Cross gate.

After this tour, you’ll understand why chocolate tastes so divine, why French fries should really be called Belgian fries and why there’s no such thing as a Belgian waffle. The tour ends in our local brewery with a free beer by the canal!

On our Bruges Beer Tasting we'll let you try six of the best beers Belgium has to offer. Our local guide will help you expand your beer horizons in a fun and interactive way.

The beer tasting takes place every night at 22h00 at the Bauhaus hostel and bar in Bruges. Simply show up in time to reserve your spot or book it here online.

Please note, that the Bruges by Night Free Walking Tour ends at the Bauhaus at 21h30, so you can always join the walking your first before joining the tasting!
